Most people have the habit of complaining about everything. They complain about their environment, their family, their business, their background, their country, their relationships, their situation and even complain about themselves.
Do you know there are certain situations in your life not all anyway, which God allowed to happen to you? Not that God is wicked but He wants you to have a knowledge or experience of some situations before He sets you on the pinnacle He had designed for you.
The greatest challenge that we have is the inability to understand when God is testing us for His assignment, blessing or for glory. Before Joseph became a prime minister in Egypt, he was betrayed by his brothers who plotted to kill him, before Moses could get the children of Israel out of Egypt he has to confront the Red sea, before David became king he was hated by king Saul and had to run away to the forest, before Jacob’s prayers were answered and his name changed to Israel he had to battle with an angel, before Joshua could get to the promised land he had to fight nations, before Elisha became a prophet he had to pass through a rigorous training from Elijah and before Christ could give us redemption He was denied by Peter, betrayed by Judas, betrayed by his people who said ‘crucify Him, crucify Him’.
Yet what happened at the end; they all came out victorious. Yours cannot be different. God is training you for a bigger thing to come. The way you handle the elementary situations determine the way you will handle a greater challenge. David was a shepherd before he could shepherd Israel.
What are you passing through that you now wonder if God has abandoned you totally? You have been in your situation for long that you even doubt if He really exists. The situation has taken every inch of you to the extent that you have lost inner peace, hope and happiness. You have even decided committing suicide as an option. Now hear the good news, God is telling me to tell you,
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you” says the Lord (Isaiah 43:2).
God is in your situation, never backslide, never give up, never surrender, never retreat, never say ‘I am finished’.
God is working things out for your favour, you just need to be patient and focus on Him. He will surely not disappoint. Your situation is about to change for good.
