You need a launch pad not a break pad.

Out of the abundance of the grace of God upon my life, I have discovered that most times God does not show up when we call on Him until we have exhausted all our alternatives to the situation we wanted Him to proffer solution. His silence does not mean He is weak or slack. He just wanted to know how long you will hang on and when He shows up you will appreciate His divine intervention. In Luke chapter five verse four Jesus said to Simon Peter:

Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.

This was after they had toiled and toiled all day. Jesus didn’t say, “Launch out your net”. He said to Peter to go down the ‘deep’ and launch his net.

It was when he launched into the deep that he uncovered prosperity. He beckoned his partners to help out. The rest was history.

Everything you are looking for is in the ‘deep’. Your business, finances, success, salvation, glory, excellence, open doors, the will of God and your destiny are all in the deep. What you need is a launch pad to the deep not a break pad which you have just applied.

Champions train to become better, losers complain and never obtain. Champions are consistent in what they do and inconsistent in counting their failures. A lot of people don’t go to the deep of their business, career, christian life, education, research, contract, knowledge and the works of their hands. If you cannot go deep get ready for sleep.

Job 12:22 declares that: God uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings the shadow of death to life.

1 Corinthians 2:10 says: But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

You just applied the break pad in your blog to win souls, change people’s lives, render relevant service to mankind because you don’t have enough followers. You don’t want to go deeper. Your relationship with your spouse hit the rocks because you never went deep to reconcile. You lost your friends because you never went deep to tell them the consequences of their actions, you eloped with your lover because you never went deep to convince your parents that he or she is the best for you, your problem has persisted because you have never gone into deep prayers, as parents you never discussed deep with your son or daughter of those behaviours before you disowned them, you never went deeper to read the Scripture and discern as a minister; that is why when you mount the podium you lack words and inspiration to preach to the congregation. You disagree with everybody in your place of work because you don’t go deep to understand their opinions. You quarrel with your family because you never went deep to explain your actions. You now fast for two days rather than twenty one days because you don’t want to go deep to hear from God. You abandoned your training program because you don’t want to understand the deeper knowledge. How long will you continue to scratch the surface? Answer me!!

Has God asked you to launch a church, motherless babies home, school for the orphanage, hospital for sick people, a blog for soul winning, business idea, medical solution, supporting a pastor in his ministry or building facilities for asylum seekers. I want you to launch it now.

My upward call has made me ask God deep things in my life and when He answers me He gives me deep revelations and mysteries of the kingdom.

  1. Fear is often the big challenge. We allow our fear of the unknown to stop us from doing the better thing. I love this post. I really needed this encouragement today.
