Every second, every minute, every hour we hear different breaking news from one country to the other, from one continent to the other. Some are good news while some are bad. Experience has thought me that many of these news are censored while some are half-baked or released to catch the attention of the helpless masses luring them into a make-believe.
News ranging from earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, politics, entertainment, education, wars, terrorist attacks, explosion of nuclear weapons, secession, science, elections, sports and other uncountable events happening simultaneously all over the world.
However, upon all these news being churned out every day, within a short time people forget them and continue with their lives. Within some weeks those news become outdated and historical.
Ecclesiastes 1:10-11 says,
Is there anything of which it may be said, “See this is new”? It has already been in ancient times before us. (Verse11) There is no remembrance of former things that are to come by those who will come after.
It simply means any news you hear today will certainly be forgotten someday, events will take over events and they may not be remembered.
Yet, there is a breaking news that has stood the test of time. The breaking news is that Jesus is coming soon. This news has refused to go away. The atheists tried to suppress it but to no avail. People disapproved it but they couldn’t stop it. The Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to subdue it; the more they tried the more it was heard. Scientists tried to deviate from the truth; from the good news of Christ but it all failed. They killed Jesus and thought the good news will stop but little did they know that they were contributing to the spread of the breaking news.
It has been spread from one generation to the other yet it remains a breaking news. The good news of Jesus is still shared all over the world.
There is no other breaking news greater than His coming. Get ready.
