You are waiting does not mean you are wasting.

There are lot of things you could be waiting for its manifestation but it seems the time is ticking fast. It seems you are wasting time. You now think the best thing to do is to find a means of doing it fast, it could be right or wrong means but you are not bothered so far as that thing is done.

Probably, you are waiting for the company to call you for the job, waiting for your spouse to propose, waiting for your prayer to be answered, waiting for your proposal to be approved, waiting to turn around your career and so on. You are waiting for your time does not mean you are wasting your time. You would be wasting your time if you are waiting for man and not God. The problem is what you do during the waiting period.

Isaiah 40:31 says, “… but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint”.

The verse says when you wait on the Lord you renew your strength, meaning, keep on praying, keep on renewing your hope, renewing your tactics, strategies, methods of approach, engaging in different means of achieving results and anchoring on God. As you keep moving, God will keep marking the time. Waiting time is not a time to relax and get less busy, No. It is a time of rejuvenation, mental alertness and spiritual sensitivity.

Prophet Isaiah used the eagle as an example, why? The eagle is a type of bird that flies and hardly gets tired. As the eagle grows she renews her strength. As we grow we become of age and our strength fails us but as the eagle grows it becomes younger and more energetic. That means for the eagle, old age is youthfulness.

Whatever you are believing God to do for you, learn to be diligent and consistent in that thing. Don’t think God is slack, don’t think God is wasting time, don’t think God is not listening, He is actually working out the answers in the womb of time.

You shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint, meaning, keep on doing what you are doing, keep on working, keep on praying and fasting, keep on believing, keep on pressing forward, keep on digging further, keep on training, keep breaking boundaries, keep on talking about your idea, keep on convincing them you can do it, keep on designing, applying, drawing, singing, writing, practicing, participating and keep on fighting for salvation. You never can tell if the next step you will make will be your breakthrough step.

As you persist you cannot faint because you are looking unto God and not man. God is a perfect timer. He created the time and He can change the time. He can fast forward the time by His time. Relax God is in control.

If you cannot fly, you run. If you cannot run, you walk. If you cannot walk, you crawl. If you cannot crawl, make sure you keep on moving.

Your time has come, your time is now. Believe me.
