Some people see things, opportunities, openings, destiny helpers, job offers, career channels, wealth, success doors but in the real sense they are blind. They see it but cannot discern it. They look but do not see, they see but do not understand.
Proverbs 20:13 says, “Do not love sleep lest you come to poverty; open your eyes and you will be satisfied with bread”.
Opening your eyes has to do with vision or revelation. Until you begin to have revelations or visions God will not be ready to do anything in your life.
God asked prophet Jeremiah, ” What do you see?” and he said, “I see a branch of an almond tree”. Then the Lord said to him, “you have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word” (Jeremiah 1:11-12).
In trouble, in your environment, in your church, in your business, in your future, in your creativity, in your talent, in your office, in your academics, in your ministry, what do you see? Do you see better days or worst days ahead? Do you see open doors or closed doors? You cannot feature in your future without a picture of your positive gesture.
Open your eyes, open your mind, open your horizon. Look around you, look with your inner spirit, you will see that the atmosphere is unoccupied; get it occupied. There is space for you to operate. Discover what you need to succeed. It is all around you. What you need is to identify opportunities and grab them.
What some men say is not possible, someone is doing it successfully somewhere. Things that made men fail has made others take correction and use it to fly in a higher altitude above their fellows. It is only when you fly that you can see things beyond the eyes.
When you have not prayed to God to open your eyes and show you great and mighty things which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3), you will certainly not see beyond your nose.
The ball is in your court, what you do with the ball is what determines your tomorrow. Shalom.
