Are you about to end your career? Read this!

There are innumerable careers, and I believe you have one or more. A lot of people change careers as soon as they experience temporary setbacks or hitches especially when the results are not encouraging. They go on and on looking for a suitable career and at the end they go back to where they started from.

You’re not the first to experience such situations but if you don’t know what to do you will continue to make mistakes. That was exactly what happened to Peter in Luke chapter 5. Peter had concluded to quit fishing for the day after toiling all night. Probably, he wanted to put an end to his fishing career and look for a better thing to do.

Something happened immediately; Jesus showed up from nowhere. After he allowed Jesus to use his boat for preaching, Jesus said to Peter,

“…….. Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch” (Luke 5:4).

The first thing Peter did was to start arguing. He narrated how he had put his time and energy all night to catch fishes but to no avail. All of a sudden he changed his mind and decided to act according to the words of Jesus. That’s the point – never waste your time arguing or struggling with your career, just obey the word. The word is: “LAUNCH OUT”.

Launch out your career, your ministry, your ideas, your business, your album, your soul winning, your academics, your blog, your relationship, your research, your talent, your videos, your inspiration, your book, your investment, your invention.

Continue doing what you’re doing. Launch out your nets into the deep, meaning, go deeper, go extra mile, spread out, spread your tentacles, look for better ways of doing things, look for partners, don’t wait till all is set, launch it now!

Your nets are various means and strategies you have to lay down to achieve your purpose. That is why the online platform is called the “internet“, because you need to have a net of connections to launch out.

Peter thought his knowledge in fishing technology was enough for him to succeed until he met with disappointment. Earthly knowledge is limited but divine knowledge is unlimited. When he accepted to act according to the word of knowledge his life changed forever. Education is good, your career or profession is good but if you want to achieve the impossible you have to act on the word of God. You need spiritual knowledge to enjoy earthly knowledge.

The word of God does not have expiry date. It is an action word. When Peter launched out his net by His word he uncovered prosperity.

If you want to catch a lot of things this year just launch out your nets and never stop spreading your nets by the word of God.
