Being age mates does not make us grace mates.

I tell people that the grace of God is upon everybody but the level of grace are not the same. Even in the realm of the Spirit we don’t have the same level.

There are certain temptations, situations or circumstances you might experience and it will oppress you but when the same situation is experienced by another person he tends to overcome it immediately, why? They are not enjoying the same level of grace. We may be age mates, team mates, school mates, work mates, course mates but the truth is we are not grace mates.

“Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread” (Acts 12:2-3).

Herod killed James and decided to kill Peter also but because of the level of grace working for Peter the angel of the Lord rescued him from prison. The church prayed for him constantly. Remember it was the same Peter that Jesus said,

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

The level of the grace of God in your life determines whether you win or lose any battle.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you,…….”.

It means there is a grace of God that is not sufficient for a person and if he goes into a certain level of spiritual battle with insufficiency he might lose the battle.

If you want to enjoy kingdom inheritance you have to grow in faith, grow in the Spirit, grow in grace. The Apostles of Christ enjoyed these rare privileges because they obeyed and grew in kingdom principles. You have to grow in anointing, in ministration, in the word of God, in power and prophetic mandate.

The same Herod that killed James couldn’t kill Peter because Peter was more filled by the Holy Spirit. Not that Peter was not killed at the end of his ministry but as that time his divine assignment has not been completed. It is a spiritual blunder if you are cut off before your time.

I pray that anything that has happened to others and killed them will not kill you. May the grace of God be made sufficient unto you. Remain blessed. Shalom.
