The power of a man.

The man in most cases is the head of most positions on earth. At least he is the head of the family and other privileged positions.

The power of a man is not to use his position to bully those who are not privileged like him, intimidate others, sexually harassing the junior staff of his company and if they don’t yield to his selfish desires they get fired.

The power of a man is not to take advantage of the feminine gender, involving in domestic violence, telling his spouse to do as as he says without mutual agreement, imposing his autocratic influence wherever he finds himself, in ministry, politics, organisation, company etc, No. You are not a man by showing off or by power tussle.

The power of a man is the ability to take responsibility in both good and bad times like Moses did by pleading for mercy on behalf of the Israelites (Numbers 21:7).

The power of a man is to love his wife even in her mistakes or shortcomings and adore her when necessary especially when it is beyond their control like Joseph loved Mary and never exposed her divine pregnancy or dissolve their marriage (Matthew 1:19).

The power of a man is to use his headship and make discipleship of good leadership for the next generation like Jesus did when He chose His disciples, trained and imparted them to continue the work (Luke 9:1).

The power of a man is to stand against anything that defiles or degrades humanity both in your state or country like David stood for Israel when Goliath defiled the army of Israel (1 Samuel 17:45).

The power of a man is resisting sexual immorality or temptation no matter the circumstance like Joseph did when Potiphar’s wife made advances (Genesis 39:11-12).

The power of a man is to stand by his family, friends, nation in times of need and sober reflection as Abraham stood for his nephew Lot when God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:29).

The power of a man is not to allow his weakness to make him senseless but to turn them into his strength as Gideon as a rejected son of a harlot came at last to become accepted to be a leader (Judges 6:15).

The power of a man lies in showing a good example in bad times, among unbelievers or crisis like Daniel refused to worship king Darius’ statue even when a death sentence was pronounced (Daniel 6:6 – 7).

The power of a man is the ability to sacrifice his time, energy and resources for the good of others and for the work of God as Paul sacrificed while in chains to propagate the gospel without reservations (Philippians 1:12 – 18).

Every man has the power to change his destiny, change lives, change his world but must first be of change to himself before he could change others. That is when he becomes unlimited.

Yes, we need teach our children, our friends, our colleagues the word of God concerning them.

We have to show them what God wants them to do.

      I am glad you commented.
      Have a blessed weekend ahead.

Love this one. Especially the end. Your advice is one every man should follow. If only man would open their eyes and see women mean no harm to them (well, strong women with a series of values), then I bet men would acknowledge a woman’s worth and would guide and support her towards good. Even if that might mean for him to drop his foolish pride and accept the woman beside him may be stronger. Why? Because, even if the man is the one called the strong sex, actually the female is. Yet, I’m no feminist, but facts prove it. Under all circumstances. Women carry all the hardship of a relationship, of motherhood, of communication with others, sometimes of planning and achieving (as the man is scared), of taking care of the strong sex… If men would lean their ear for a second in listening to the words of valuable women, this world would be least of what is today. My thoughts…

Over all, your work in opening the eyes of people around you is exquisite! Following!

Beautiful words so well spoken and I agree totally with your post. A man needs to be wise, kind, gentle and taking care of his family and not what u said in the beginning. Great words.
